Who we are

Walnut Investment Services LLC. is an independent, registered investment adviser. Established in 2000 and based in Park Slope, Brooklyn, we specialize in providing the highest level of personal financial & investment advice to individuals, families and small businesses. Our team offers over 50 years years of combined experience, matched with the focused attention and personal service of an independent, locally-owned company. Providing solutions for the financial success of each and everyone of our clients is of paramount importance to us. Walnut Investment Services LLC was founded on the premise that the best financial advice should be independent, unbiased and customized for each client's needs.

Mark Blinderman (Managing Partner)

Mark was born in 1963. Graduate of Bernard M. Baruch College, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Economics. He is a Investment Adviser Representative and a Notary Public.

Harvey Kraus (Managing Partner)

Harvey was born in 1951, graduated from Brooklyn College in 1975 with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and for the past 35 years has been running his own accounting practice. He is a Investment Adviser Representative and an Enrolled Agent with the IRS.
